Pre Care
- Cease any exfoliation of the skin 2 weeks prior to your treatment.
- Please wait 7 days after having Botox or Filler to receive this treatment.
- Please cease any use of Prescription Vitamin A 7 days prior to this treatment.
- Please cease any cosmeceutical Vitamin A for 48-72 hours prior to this treatment.
Post Care
Post care for Skin Needling is vital to achieving results.
For the first 24 hours:
- Skin may feel warm and appear pink. The skin may appear slightly scratched on the surface and may feel sensitive or a little swollen.
- Avoid excessive hot to cold water.
- Avoid strongly scented lotions or soaps, exfoliating creams, and scrubbing.
- Avoid picking or scratching at the skin.
- Avoid excessive exercise and alcohol.
- Apply DMK Beta Gel and Contraderm and a Mineral Sunscreen.
- Minimal makeup to be worn if necessary.
While your skin is still pink:
- Avoid using AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) or Vitamin A products.
- Avoid swimming pools and spas with multiple chemicals/chlorine.
- Avoid activities that cause excessive perspiration.
After 48 hours:
- Resume your normal cleansing and moisturising routine.
- Always remember to apply your SPF 30+ sunscreen every day to protect your skin from the Australian sun and to avoid repeat damage and marking.
After 5 days:
- After 5-7 days you can give your skin a gentle exfoliation. You can be the judge if you think your skin is ready for this. If your skin is still sensitive, you can re-evaluate in a few days’ time. After 1 week you can resume to using active ingredients like AHA and Vitamin A.

Amazing quality of treatments and customer service. My favourite treatment is the keratin lash lifts because they curl and tint my lashes permanently for up to 8 weeks, so I never have to apply mascara, all whilst keeping my lashes healthy, which is perfect especially for summer! What does the treatment involve?
Before the microneedling treatment, your face is thoroughly cleansed and prepared. Following this, an anaesthetic cream may be applied at the discretion of your practitioner. The process itself is nearly painless; the needles only penetrate the top layer of the skin, plus the speed and depth of penetration can be adjusted by the operator based on your level of comfort, ensuring a great experience and optimal results.
Immediately after your treatment there will be visible redness on the treatment area which can be easily covered post treatment. Most inflammation will have disappeared 24 hours after the procedure. Whilst patients should avoid direct sunlight for the first few days after the micro needling treatment, it is possible to go back to work immediately.

How often should you have a Microneedling treatment?
