There’s a new baby in the Glenrose Beauty Gallery house! We’re very proud to announce the arrival of the Ulfit HIFU, for customised non-invasive body and face contouring.
It’s designed specifically for lifting and tightening loose skin, so perfect for those who are seeking a bit of a lift, but aren’t keen to commit to needles or full facelifts just yet. Think jowl lifts/jawline contouring, neck lines and wrinkles, drooping eyebrows and eye lifts, double chins and body contouring.
How does Ulfit work?
Ulfit uses two state-of-the-art technologies, Micro Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) and Macro Focused Circular Ultrasound (FMCU), for skin laxity and body contouring treatments.
The Ulfit technology delivers High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) at 65-75ºC into the targeted layers of the dermis, prompting the production of new collagen and a younger looking you. The Ulfit also utilises Macro Focused Circular Ultrasound (MFCU) to target stubborn fat cells in certain parts of the body.
What body parts can be treated?
Ulfit can be used on problem areas on the face and body to contour and slim. It is a non-surgical treatment, with no downtime – meaning immediate, visible results. (Our favourite.) Facially, forehead, eyebrows, periorbital, jowl lines, double chin and neck wrinkles are all excellent candidates. Moving down, great results can be achieved on the chest, abdomen, outer thighs, knees, bra lines, arms, flanks, below buttocks and inner thighs.
What can I expect during the treatment?
Ulfit is equipped with rapid shot movement, making it precise and efficient, targeting the layers of skin below the surface. The treatment will feel warm, with a slight vibration and tingling sensation. Treatments take around 25-45 minutes, depending on which areas are being treated.
What about afterwards?
Your skin may appear red after the treatment, but this subsides in a few hours. Results can be seen after just one treatment – hurrah! – but the most visible results will be seen between 8-12 weeks post treatment and will continue to improve over the next 6 months.
